13 Reasons Why Season 4: Nothing Really Matters

Image
(Clay Jenson having a mental breakdown or something) 13 Reasons Why has finally, painfully, came to a close. I have had a love and hate relationship with this series and with me doing a post on every other season, it only seemed fair to finish the series. My personal verdict, this season was terrible. I did not like it on a plethora of reasons both with the story, acting, and topics at hand. This show tries to represent current events but seems to struggle with having any idea of what they are trying to preach. School shooting check, mental health check, riots, check, AIDS check check check! Every episode ends with a crazy shock just to follow up next with nothing. I'm gonna break down the good, bad, and main issue of this season and wrap it all up for you the reader. The Good I struggled to find any positives to this show especially this season. The mystery of who is disrupting the lives of the main characters is shadowed to the murder mystery of who murdered Bryc...

Guinea Pig Fun Facts 2!!!!

Image
(Charlie by Jacob Gunter) Hey, all my guinea pig lovers out there! With so much popularity of my last guinea pig fun fact post, I thought it would be fun to continue it here! I love guinea pigs and I think this page can focus more on more of a guinea pig-themed page! I hope you enjoy it! Guinea pigs will lick the ears of each other as a way to comfort each other. If your guinea pigs lick your fingers, well I got good news, that means they like you! They also like salt which our hands are also salty due to sweat. Guinea pigs seek comfort in different ways and if they are able to rest and sleep while you're in the room only shows that they trust you and are comfortable around you. I think a lot of people long for that type of comfort right now. The world is going through hardship after hardship and it seems that no one has any real solution to these matters. Bombings, to wildfires, to coronavirus, to riots and protests. It seems death is creeping up on us more closely ever...

Guinea Pig Fun Facts!!!!!

Image
(Cubone by Jacob Gunter) Thought about changing up my blog to a guinea pig fun fact page! I sure do love my guinea pigs and I have learned a lot about them over these past few months. There is some pretty interesting facts about guinea pigs and I thought I would share them with you all! I hope you enjoy it! Guinea Pig Fun Fact #1: As of 2019, Sweden has made it illegal for the sale of single guinea pigs. What does that mean? If you were in the market for a guinea pig, you better be looking for two. Guinea pigs are very social creatures that make them being able to interact with other pigs! They need connection amongst their own kinda and being left alone in a cage can lead to them feeling lonely and sad :(. I really can relate to these little pigs at times. Even though a single guinea pig can interact with kids and family members in their forever home, but honestly we all need to be around our own type of person. Sometimes when I am at work, sitting in meetings, I feel that ...

The Rat

Image
White Rat by Michael Creese Are you okay? The rat was vilified because of not what he did but for who he was. Rats carried disease and sickness yet the filth he carried attracted the other animals in the forest. To the other animals, he was a sinner that they all were deep within themselves. You see the rat did not have to lie to bring the curiosity of the others among the forest. He followed no one. Listened to no one. Believed in no one. For who he was he was not welcomed in the light, judged in the light, and outcasted in the light, but in the dark, the rat would flourish. You see, the rat did not have to search for the attention he longed for in the forest. The animals would find the rat in the night and pull on the temptations they pushed away in the day. They condoned what they condemned and the rat lavished in it. He saw the true colors of the animals. Not all the masks, status, and reputation. The rat got to see the true animal in all of them. He knew what all the animal...

The Mandalorian: Getting Into Star Wars

Image
The Mandalorian by Jon Favreau Well, we are halfway through the first season of The Mandalorian written by Jon Favreau. The guy who played Happy Hogan from the Iron Man and Spiderman movies. When rumors came out of him writing a Star Wars series for Disney's streaming service I was a bit hesitant. I had some trust issues with Star Wars ever since The Last Jedi came out. Taking something we all loved and taking it to a completely different direction left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. Now I am biased because I really love Star Wars. Solo was good on its own but I didn't know how a television series would play out since Star Wars has only been on the big screen, with the exception of the animated series. With that being said, Star Wars has been written by so many different people that it has become so convoluted which can be a good or bad thing. JJ Abram wrote Force Awaken to almost mirror New Hope don't at me. Rian Johnson wrote The Last Jedi where you c...

13 Reasons Why Season 3: Sympathy for the Devil

Image
SPOILERS AHEAD FROM ALL SEASONS Another year, another season of 13 Reasons Why but this time with a murder! I will admit, I didn't see billboards or that much advertisement on Facebook this time around and I actually appreciated that. When I saw the trailer finding out that Bryce Walker was murdered, I was actually excited to watch this season. You know how much I despised Bryce due to his 1-dimensional writing of the walking embodiment of toxic masculinity. Bryce was not a human in the first 2 seasons but a fill-in the spot for the "bad guy". My wife and I watch the entire third season in a 2-day span and I will say that this was the best season yet. Very few times did I want to rip my hair out by the obvious stupid choices the characters would make throughout the show, unlike the first two seasons. This season is a murder mystery of who killed Bryce rather than the first two seasons of pointing fingers of who cause Hannah's suicide. I am going to break down...
